your cake smash session

Celebrate your baby’s birthday with organic moments of joy, get messy, have fun, and let their budding personality shine! Most Cake Smash sessions take place in the studio and we will consult prior to the session will we chat about your vision for the session, colour schemes and prop requirements, eg balloons, and what type of cake you require. Sometimes I will provide the cake and others the client will, especially if their baby has any allergies. All this can be discussed to create your dream cake smash photoshoot! During the session, there is time before the cake smashing begins to take some simple and organic photographs of you and your birthday baby and/or their siblings if you would like.

By the way, Cake Smash photoshoots aren’t limited to one year old birthdays! They are so fun and special for older children too!

I can alternatively come to your home for the Cake Smash session, or, a sweet outside shoot amongst flowers, meadow grasses, or the pebbles of a beach can be very special. If you want to talk about an outside location, select Bespoke and we will consult so I can suggest the best place to fulfil your vision!

Upon booking, you will receive a style guide to help you choose your baby’s outfit for the photoshoot (and yours if you’re taking part too!) You can request to borrow clothing from my Client Wardrobe and Little Wardrobe; please do give me seven days notice of any outfits you require.
